Before anything is removed, Disk Cleaner & Visualizer shows the plan: what each item is, how big it is, and one of three plain labels.

Safe: Temporary files and leftovers that nothing needs after the app that made them has closed.
Comes back by itself: Caches that Windows or an app rebuilds when it needs them. The space may fill again, and Disk Cleaner & Visualizer says so.

Files you remove go to the Recycle Bin, so you can put them back with Undo. A clean run as administrator and the Deep Clean steps have no Undo in the app; what they move to the Recycle Bin stays there, where you can restore it.
Some things cannot go to the Recycle Bin and are deleted for good: emptying the Recycle Bin, removing Windows.old, the Deep Clean steps for restore points and the component store, and files on a drive that has no Recycle Bin. Disk Cleaner & Visualizer says so before you confirm.
It only removes what its published rules list. It does not guess.

Does the free version stop working after a while?

No. Scanning, Quick Clean, the Collector and undo stay free with no time limit and no reminders.

What does Disk Cleaner & Visualizer send over the internet?

Only one thing: when you activate Premium, your key or voucher and a PC id made by one-way hashing. The app does not check for updates. No analytics and no scan data. The privacy policy lists it in full.

Can I move Premium to a new PC?

Yes. Each key works on one PC at a time. Write to support and we release it so your new PC can use it. Reinstalling on the same PC needs nothing.

Why does a cleaned cache sometimes fill up again?

Some caches belong to Windows or an app, which rebuilds them as it runs. Disk Cleaner & Visualizer labels these "Comes back by itself" so you know before you remove them.

Do sizes match File Explorer?

Yes. Disk Cleaner & Visualizer uses the same units as File Explorer, so 1 GB here is 1,073,741,824 bytes, as it is there.
